Clonakilty Distillery offers visitors an exciting distillery experience located in the Waterfront Building in the heart of Clonakilty Town. Discover the importance of the coastal land the founders have committed to farming for eight generations as well as the innovation they had leading them to revive ancient malting barley varieties.
 
With their fields at the base of Galley Head Lighthouse providing the perfect environment to nurture and grow the finest of crops with centuries of sea mist, soft rain and ocean spray providing a complexity to the soil, permeating through to each individual grain, you can be guaranteed an explosion of flavour.
 
Want a more hands on experience at the Distillery? Then why not sign up to the Clonakilty Distillery Gin School. Here you will learn how to make and distill your very own bespoke bottle of Gin in the first Munster Gin School. Discover the Gin making process selecting your own unique recipe using specially picked botanicals to actually distilling your own bottle of Gin. How To Get There:
The Clonakilty Distillery is only a short walk from The Clonakilty Hotel, making it the perfect West Cork Hen Party Activity! Turn left on leaving The Clonakilty Hotel joining Wolfe Tone Street before turning left onto Clarke Street. Continue walking straight down Clarke Street before joining onto the N71. At this point, turn left and cross the road where you will find The Clonakilty Distillery facing you.
